So...after a couple of years of trying to find Sephora by OPI "Metro Chic" polish I stumbled upon this and given the fact that they are decently close to each other I picked it up.
I like the texture of this polish as well as the colour but the first time I used it I had a bit of trouble with the brush. It is a bit wonky and, at first, I was trying to work around it but after I started using it exactly like I would any other brush it started working for me. The longevity of the polish is decent and the finish in nice and glossy even before you add a top coat.
Do you like taupe polishes? If so, which one is your favourite?

Review of the L'oreal "La Couleur" infallible eyeshadows.
Hello my dears,
I hope you have been having a great start to the weekend. Today, I have a review for you. A week ago I picked up a L'oreal "La Couleur" infallible eyeshadow in the colour "Goldmine". I wanted to try these eyeshadows due to the hype as well as their unique texture.
They are something in between a pigment, a cream shadow and a pressed eyeshadow. The colour selection isn't great but I have to say that there is something for everyone. The colours , as a general rule, have a foiled look to them. They are not glittery as such(which is a good thing) but they have an amazing sheen. They are EXTREMELY pigmented, they are very easy to work with and they are quite long wearing. I haven't tested out the 24 hour claim that L'oreal is making but what I can tell you is that you won't have to worry about them fading and/or creasing.
I am planning on picking up a couple more colours in the next couple of weeks. I will make sure I swatch the ones I pick up and create a separate post on them(if you'd like to see that, of course).
Now on to swatches and pictures of the product.

Quick gunmetal smokey eye!
Hello Hello,
As I promised, I have another post for you today. It is a gunmetal coloured smokey eye. It is simple and perfect for a night out, paired with a neutral lip.
Unfortunately the colours looked a little washed out in the pictures but I think the idea behind this look is pretty clear.
Products used(in order)
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Slate" [base]
UD "Gunmetal" e/s (UD Naked palette) [lid]
UD "Buck" e/s (UD Naked palette) [crease]
NO7 Stay Perfect e/s in "Wheatsheaf" [highlighter]
Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in "black ink"
Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara(bottom lashes)
Lancome Hypnose mascara(top lashes)
That's all for this look...!Pretty low maintenace don't you think? You can pick any shade you'd like or any dark shade that suits your skin colour(since not all e/s shades suit all skincolours) and place it over top a dark base. Blend a neutral colour in the crease and place a highlighter on the brow bone and inner part of the eye. Use the dark e/s again and run it on the bottom lashline. Then line with your favourite liner and apply mascara.
Let me know what you think of this quick look...!

OPI Mini Muppets swatches
Hello my beautiful readers!!
I have a post for you today featuring swatches of the OPI muppets mini nailpolishes.
From left to right: Wocka Wocka, Excuse Moi, Designer...de Better & Warm and Fozzie
I also have some individual swatches. They are not perfect and I would like to apologize for that. I am planning on buying a new camera so that I can "deliver" better photos for you. If you have any suggestions please do let me know...:)
Wocka Wocka: This is a nice red with a gorgeous gold shimmer that doesn't show up in photos unfortunately.
Excuse Moi! : This is a multicolour glitter with a red base.
Designer...de Better. This is my favourite colour. It is a metallic silver with a bronzey undertone.Absolutely gorgeous and very unique colour.
Warm and Fozzie: This is a metallic brownish colour which is a little difficult to describe. This polish has gold and red undertones. This mixture of colours makes the polish look brownish/bronzey.
Now, if you are looking for the most unique colour to pick up from this collection I would recommend: Designer...de Better.I am also considering picking up the multicoloured glitter polish from this collection because it caught my eye, however I haven't decided yet. If anyone owns please please let me know what you think of it.
That is all...!I hope you liked this post.
xoxo
